Modified Horizontal Vertical Partition Scheme for Fractal Image Compression

چکیده
A horizontal-vertical partition scheme modification for fractal and hybrid image compression and an algorithm of its optimization are proposed. The proposed partition scheme efficiency analysis for two test images is carried out. The advantages of the proposed partition scheme in comparison to conventional horizontal vertical partition scheme and to Quadtree partition scheme are shown.
